Internet Is Evil!!!

I am certainly not the only one in this situation... Internet is keeping me from writing my thesis! I'm always checking my emails, my blog, my bank account, watching some videos on YouTube, etc, etc, etc!!!

I'm sure that students were more able to get their work done when Internet was not in the world!

I have to work on the computer and it's really hard to focus on my thesis! There is so many distractions!

And I have to get to my goal: being done with my thesis next week!

The boyfriend and I are leaving for the weekend tomorrow after lunch! We will be in Québec city until Monday, B has a doctor's appointment there Monday morning. We will hang out with some friends Friday night, Saturday will be a shopping day (yé!) and we will have dinner with B's cousin and his wife. On Sunday, we are going to see our friend Jo and her baby Antoine (born in February), can't wait! We will stay at a friend's place, it saves us some money! It should be a fun weekend!

So, tomorrow we will hit this road and about 8 hours later, we will be in Québec city!

I'm not the biggest Céline Dion's fan, but I really love this song (in French) "Pour que tu m'aimes encore"  ("So That You Love Me Again"). There is also an English version but I prefer the French one!

Back in 1995, I was in Grade 5 and I remember listening to this song with my friend Hélène, she was a big Céline's fan!

What I'm Loving Wednesday!

• I'm loving that the painting at our place is almost done! And I'm loving the color that we chose for our bedroom!

• I'm loving that in two short days, B will be back from his work trip in Montréal! I just hope there will be no snow storm on this particular day, I don't want him to be stocked there!

• I'm loving that there is a beautiful weather outside! Spring is almost here!

• I'm loving that I had a great evaluation for my last work contract!

• I'm loving that my thesis writing is going well!

• I'm loving my parents who are just so nice to help us out with our place! They helped us so much with the painting job!

• I'm loving those two cute tops from Dynamite!

Random Friday!

• I had an exhausting week! I worked out in the mornings and all day long, I had to write my thesis! At nights, I went to our new place to paint et to do some cleaning and unpacking with my mom! This weekend will be the last big weekend to paint the place! Can't wait!!!

• I applied to some jobs but I have not heard anything yet... This is a stressful thing for me... I just hope to find a job soon!!!

• Lately, I'm kind in a lack of inspiration for my blog... I just seem to repeat myself week after week... I don't feel like writing a lot...

• My parents are getting a new car! Instead of selling it right away, they will lend me their old car for some months, so I'm happy! Very nice of them!

• Some friends of B are getting married this summer! I'm happy for them but I'm also kind of jealous because B and I have been together for 8.5 years and his friends only have been dating for like 2 years, I feel like my turn will never come... Each time B's friends get engaged or married, I feel that way because I just feel that B is not ready for that, even if he is now 29 and I'm 26... (and according to me, 8.5 years of dating is a long time, I don't know what B needs to make the move. We know each other so much and we live together and everything is fine.. Is he uncertain of his love for me or what?!) and I'm questioning myself...  He knows that I do want to get married but I know that he is not thrilled when I watch weddings tv shows and  when I talk about those shows!!! (thing that I rarely do!!!)

Miscellany Monday!

 

One

My weekend was super busy!!! The painting job of our new home is almost  done! We did the living room and the bathroom! The bedroom is the only room left, we will paint it this weekend! Painting is a lot of job but I'm sure everything will look great!

Two

I was so happy to finally see B when I arrived on Wednesday night! The only sad thing is that B left this morning for a 2 weeks work trip.  ;(  We were only together for 4 days and we spent it working on the house, so we did not spent a lot of time really together alone!

Three

Being back in my hometown is weird... It's a small city  and when I go to the grocery store or anywhere, I almost always meet someone I know (or that B or my parents know)... Weird thing. Not sure if I like it...

Four

This week, I really have to work on my thesis, I have not been able to get everything done before I left Québec city, so the next 2 weeks will be very busy again!

Five

I miss reading all the blogs I used to read!!! I can't wait to have everything unpacked and my thesis done to have more time for me and more time to blog!

I'm so happy to be home with my 2 cats!

I'm Still Alive!!!

Yes, I am, but I am SO busy!!!
This weekend, I went to visit my 4 grandparents and also did some shopping at IKEA for our new place!
And I finally moved back home yesterday and we are doing the painting job in our rented house!
I will be back next week with some pictures!
