Hello 2012!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! 

BONNE ANNÉE 2012!

In the past few days, I traveled a lot! We went to Montréal for Christmas (900 km each way!). We had a great time with B's family (his aunt, his uncle, his parents and his sister and her boyfriend). We got back in town on the 28th and we were exhausted because of those 13 hours of traveling!

We hosted a New Year Eve party at our place last night and it was so fun! About 15 friends came for our wine and cheese tasting. More wine than cheese actually ha!!! We went to bed at 3:00 am and I was beyond exhausted! Today, we got a lot of cleaning to do! We are also going for a walk in a few minutes! It's kind of cold (-20C) but it won't stop us!

The holidays are now pretty much over. Bye bye décorations et sapin de Noël! B is going back to work on Tuesday. And I'm still unemployed. (Right before Christmas, I had a major disappointment because I didn't get the job I was interviewed for and that I really really wanted. And I was so sad.) I hope 2012 brings me a great job and a lot of happiness!

I hope 2012 will be good for all of you people!!!

1. I hope I will get DVD series, like Beverly Hills 90210 seasons 7-10! I am totally a fan of that old TV show from the 90s and I have already seasons 1-6!

2. An elliptical machine!

I really want this to be able to exercise more at home but I don't think I will get it, it's kind of expensive! :(  A girl can dream!

Christmas Recap... A Week Later!

My Christmas Eve and my Christmas Day were great!

On Christmas Eve, my mom and I baked almost all day long! We did some great desserts and yummy appetizers for the evening! The house smelled really good! I love to cook with my mom, she's the best!!!

During the afternoon, my family and I watched our favorite movie, Christmas Vacation, of course! I just love this movie, it's a classic!

At 6h00pm, my boyfriend arrived to my house for the evening. We were only 5 (my mom, my dad, me, my boyfriend and my younger brother.

We drank some wine and some champagne and had the appetizers we made. We laughed a lot and it was great. We opened gifts around 9h30pm. I got a lot of great things!

On Christmas Day, my boyfriend and I went in the forest outside the city for a ride in snowshoes! The landscapes were amazing! I love winter!!! We are supposed to do it again in some days!

 Here I am on that cold but beautiful day!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm now home and I feel great being with the people I love! This is so cold here, but I love being here! I was  with my boyfriend the entire evening of Wednesday and the entire day yesterday, I'm so happy to be with him and so he is!! Love him so much! He really missed me, I can tell! The feeling of being with him is just indescriptible... No words can explain that great feeling!

Today, I will do some Christmas cooking with my mom (chocolate mousse, lemon mini-cupcakes,  cookies, etc.) and we will also decorate our Christmas tree, it's not done yet! My parents have been very busy in the past few weeks (like me héhé!!!). I will probably show you some pictures of our tree later!

I also have to wrap my gifts, I love to do that!

Finally!

Last week and this week, I was working 8h30am-4h00pm and all evenings and all weekend long, I was working on my thesis! I'm exhausted! I am sick of sitting at my desk and I am sick of reading!!!

This is a picture of my desk at home, it's a mess!

But in the next 3 weeks, no more sitting at that desk!

I'm going home tomorrow for the holidays!!! And going home means seeing my boyfriend after 5 weeks!!! Can't wait!!!

I leave at 8h15am and I arrive home at 8h15pm! And the bus will probably be full, I hope someone nice will be sitting next to me!

I just want to be home and relax! And make the Christmas tree with my family and bake some cookies and some fudge!!!
